Agreeing to these terms
These terms apply when you use the Pinnacle Bismarck Spray Foam Insulation website, starting from our home page, and when you hire us for work. By using the site, asking for an estimate or booking a job, you agree to them. If you don't agree, please don't use the site.
In these terms, "we", "us" and "our" mean Pinnacle Bismarck Spray Foam Insulation. "You" means the person using the site or the customer we're working for.
What we do
We're an insulation contractor in Bismarck, ND, and we work in Bismarck, Mandan and the cities around them. Our work includes spray foam, blown-in and attic insulation, insulation removal, air sealing, crawl space and basement insulation and vapor barriers, for homes and commercial buildings.
The service descriptions on this site are general information. What we'll actually do on your job is what's written in your estimate or agreement. You can read more about who we are on our About page.
Estimates and pricing
We give free in-person estimates, because the price depends on what we find at your house, such as how much insulation is already there, what shape it's in, how much air sealing is needed and how hard the space is to reach. Nothing on this website is a price quote.
An estimate is based on what we can see and measure at the visit. If we open a space and find something we couldn't see before, like wet or contaminated insulation, buried vents or damaged framing, we'll stop, show you and give you a written change before doing any extra work. The prices on an estimate hold for the period written on it.
Scheduling, access and cancellation
We'll set a start date with you once you accept the estimate. Dates can move because of weather, material supply or an earlier job running long, and we'll tell you as soon as we know.
You agree to give our crew safe access to the work areas, clear stored items from the attic, garage or crawl space when we ask, and tell us about pets and any hazards you know of. On spray foam jobs, you agree to follow the re-entry time we give you, which is when people and pets can come back inside, because it comes from the foam maker's instructions.
If you need to cancel or reschedule, call us as early as you can. If materials were special-ordered for your job or a crew was already on its way, your agreement may let us charge for those costs.
Payment
Payment terms, including any deposit and when the balance is due, are written in your estimate or agreement. Unless that paperwork says otherwise, the balance is due when the work is finished.
If a payment is late, we may pause work and collect what's owed as North Dakota law allows. You're responsible for any bank charges from a returned payment.
Our guarantee and what it doesn't cover
We're licensed and fully insured, and our work is backed by our satisfaction guarantee. If something about the installation isn't right, call us and we'll come look at it.
Any written warranty for your job, and any manufacturer's warranty on the materials, is in your paperwork, and those written terms decide what's covered. Beyond them, our work and this website come without other warranties, express or implied, to the extent North Dakota law allows.
We don't promise a set drop in your power bill or a set indoor temperature, because those depend on your house, your heating and cooling equipment and how you use them. Our guarantee doesn't cover damage from other trades, roof or plumbing leaks, pests, or changes made to the work after we finish.
Limits on our liability
To the extent the law allows, we aren't liable for indirect, incidental or consequential losses connected to our work or this website, such as lost use of a room or higher energy costs. We're also not responsible for conditions we didn't cause, like mold, rot or old wiring, that come to light when a space is opened.
Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us for the job the claim is about. Nothing in these terms limits liability that North Dakota law doesn't allow a business to limit.
Using this website
We try to keep this site accurate, but it's general information about insulation, not advice for your specific house. The text and images on the site belong to us, so please don't copy them for commercial use.
Any links to other websites are there for convenience, and we aren't responsible for what those sites say or do.
Working out a disagreement
If you're unhappy with our work or a bill, call us first at (701) 299-5007 or reach us through our contact page, and give us a fair chance to make it right. Most problems get settled with a visit and a straight conversation.
If we can't settle it together, either of us may bring a claim in a North Dakota court that has jurisdiction over the matter, including small claims court.
Which state's law applies
These terms, and any work we do for you, are governed by the laws of the State of North Dakota.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time, and changes take effect when they're posted on this page. The terms in effect when you signed your agreement are the ones that apply to that job.
